Cryonics Institute Case Report for Patient Number 285
CI patient #285 was an 85 year old male from California and was also a member of the American Cryonics Association. The patient died on March 2nd, 2026, received field vitrification services from Suspended Animation under the direction of ACS and was sent to CI in dry ice for long-term storage on March 6, 2026. The patient arrived at the CI facility on March 6, 2026 at 9:50 am and was cooled to -196 over a period of five and a half days. Once the cooling was complete, the patient was placed in a cryostat for long-term storage.
