CI 2012 Annual General Meeting
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Cryonics Institute (CI) will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 4 P.M. at the main facility, 24355 Sorrentino Court, Clinton Township, Michigan 48035. The Annual General Meeting of The Immortalist Society immediately follows the AGM of CI on the same Saturday.
At the AGM the newly elected CI Board of Director Members are announced. The candidates run for four Director positions, elected by ballots mailed to Voting Members in August. The candidate profiles can be found at 2012 Cryonics Institute Director Candidates.
For those who come early there will be a social dinner on the Friday evening preceding the AGM. Visitors are also welcome to come to the main CI facility as early as 2 P.M. Saturday, the day of the meeting. Tours are given to those who are interested. And after the meeting on Saturday there is a free buffet dinner.
CI President Ben Best, who will preside over the AGM, will be stepping-down after having served nine years as CI President. Some of the other CI Directors are planning a testimonial for Ben during this AGM. For background, see: CI Leadership Transition.

The meetings are open to the general public, but we do request that we be informed ahead of time if you wish to attend (by the above e-mail address, phone number or mailing address). We need to be able to plan for the amount of food we will need for the buffet dinner and for the amount of seating required.
Meetings offer a great opportunity to see the facility, to meet other members, to get a sense of the status of the Cryonics Institute in operation and to see Officers, Directors and Staff.
